Dumb and Dumber Animation

I had a lot of fun animating to Jim Carrey’s amazing delivery. Are you hiring for this sort of cartoony animated show? Hit me up!!!

It’s been a while since I did an animation purely for my show-reel. I started this piece as a way to learn the software Blender for the Sam and Julia production.

I only got as far as blocking out the shot before I started production and had to learn on the job anyway, but I liked the shot enough to return to it and polish it up a bit with a mix of 2’s and 1’s which is honestly my favourite way of working in 3D now.

I LOVE animating in Blender. It’s very user friendly for animation.

Animated Christmas Card with Timelapse Making Of

Merry Christmas from Band of One. I just uploaded this Animated Christmas Card. There’s a timelapse of me animating this in Toonboom over about 8 hours. (condensed to 10 minutes!)

It has been a very busy year and the last few weeks have been crazy so I thought I’d take a moment to do some animation for myself and what better than to do a looping Christmas card animation.

This was really fun to make and I had loads of fun doing the music too. I think next year I might give myself the challenge to do one loop a month.
